Vanessa Torre grew up in San Diego and began dancing at the age of 4. She trained in all styles of dance and had the opportunity to work with many well-respected studios and instructors throughout Southern California. Vanessa is a former award-winning competition dancer. She was a member of the nationally recognized and award-winning Orange Coast College and Cal State Fullerton dance teams and enjoyed top titles in the UDA and USA Dance Competitions. Vanessa has her BA in Dance from Cal State Fullerton. She was extremely active in the dance department as a dancer and choreographer. Her studies also included dance history, performance, kinesiology, and pedagogy. Vanessa most currently danced with Unity Dance Ensemble under the direction of Tessandra Chavez. She traveled and performed with many highly regarded dancers throughout San Diego and Los Angeles. Today Vanessa enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages.
